SZABADON NŐ
FREE WOMAN_FREE GROWTH

2021.09.04.

Freewoman is an exhibition shaped into a four-hour-long ritual. It was an opportunity for me to show what inspires me when I’m painting, what triggers my emotions.

I collaborated with creators who supported the evening with their own crafts: dance performances, poetry, and film accompanied the paintings all curated in a way to help the viewers form a personal experience.

The location played an instinctive role in the creation, the view, the nature, and the buildings on the property gave the foundation of the whole performance. After the viewing, we all sat in nature with our eyes shut listening to the surroundings and our inner landscapes. A sunset dinner followed by a campfire marked the end of the ritual.

The feminine experience inspires me. In this project, I propose my questions on what does it mean live freely as a woman, and leave the audience to find their own answers. Curating an event of such kind, made it possible to create a tangible artistic experience for the participants.
